I select friends based on feelings with a little extra of thoughts. I feel like I can directly tell if I can get along with a person or not. I can actually get along with all my friends in school. We talk because of some common classes, which further means similar interests and majors in college. However, I also use my mind to think whether a person could bring harmful effect on me. Basically I don't choose friends because of their appearance of style. I like to be friends with those who have good attitudes. Having good attitudes is important in terms of shaping a person’s personality and moral behavior. The elders always told us to choose friends wisely because they could change your whole life. Therefore, I think besides using feelings to select friends, thinking about it twice could help you decide if your choice was right. For example, people in my lunch table, Sam, Victor, Sarah, Wanyi, Vivien, Alyson, and Tiffany, are all hard-working people who want to go to good colleges. And I want this kind of attitude in my life so that’s how I turned out to be friends with them. Also, I have many common classes with them so I guess we got similar interests.
